FROZEN FRONTIER Holiday Weekend
Frozen Frontier is the theme as the Baker County Chamber of Commerce kicks off the Christmas season, offering a great opportunity to shop locally, look for food and crafts from local makers and enjoy the day of family fun.
Food and crafters on Court Street between Main & First, 10 to 4Twilight Parade & Tree Lighting, 5 p.m. on Main Street and at Court Street Plaza (pick up your parade entry form at the Chamber of Commerce office, 490 Campbell St.)
To keep you warm during the celebration of Christmas in the FROZEN FRONTIER, the Baker City Lions Club will serve their famous Hot Chocolate and Sorbenots Coffee, FREE, to warm the inside while you are standing around their burn barrels warming your fingers and toes.
Twinkle in Time, organized by Baker City Downtown, is a weekend of events and activities that include the popular Cookie Crawl and the annual Festival of Trees Family Fun Day, held at the Baker Heritage Museum; Make-and-Take holiday activities, organized by Crossroads Carnegie Art Center, Inc; Pictures with Santa & Letters to Santa, organized by the Baker City Kiwanis, and the 4H Christmas Bazaar, organized by Baker County OSU Extension 4H program, the latter two located at the Cockram Indoor Arena and the Event Center at the Baker County Fairgrounds.
